Tuesday, March 3rd, 2009 at 4:30 p.m.
at Proctor Park Plaza Community Center

Norhill neighbors we need your HELP! Please join us and invite you neighbors so we can be in the know of what is going on, being done, and what WE can do for our neighborhood.

Help our local police and neighbors kick-off the:

Keep Houston Safe Program In the Heights

with Chief of Police Harold Hurrt, Houston Police Department Command Staff Members, Central Division, and the Mounted Patrol Unit, congresswoman Shiela Jackson Lee, and other city council members from the City of Houston.

Keep Houston Safe is a citywide collaborative partnership between citizens, businesses and the Houston Police Department. The main focus is crime prevention and the implementation of proactive crime prevention efforts aimed at the elimination of criminal incidents, rather than responding to them after they occurred.

Central Division Positive Interaction Program (P.I.P) Meeting

If you would like an opportunity to meet with the leadership of HPD concerning crime in our area, PIP is the best venue for doing so. Meet the officers patrolling our beat and have a one-on-one discussion with them.

This month's P.I.P. meeting: Officer Stephen Dicker
has been a police officer for over 20 years and works in the Major Offenders Environmental Unit.

Mark your calenders for Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at 7 PM in The Houston Police Officer's Union hall located at 1600 State street in the beautiful and historic Old Sixth Ward.

The Captain and his staff will be there to answer any questions or concerns in the area.

On another note, please be aware that the State of Texas is holding National Night Out celebrations on October 6, 2009.
